The game is currently unreleased and offers players the opportunity to gain a starter ship and parts in an airdrop, prior to launch. One lucky player each day will also receive a loot crate whilst the campaign is active.
At this stage, we are only able to gain a glimpse of the game’s surface — upon logging in and completing enough of the airdrop missions to receive the starter ship, we see ourselves floating amidst a large space station. It looks like a more advanced, mature version of CryptoSpaceCommanders, perhaps more like EVE Online.
Right now the game is unplayable — users can interact with their ship, modules, components and crates. It appears as though they will have a largely player-owned economy within which users can trade using their own intermediary currency.
I won’t delve too deeply into the mechanics as it is uncertain how much of the gameplay will be accessible on release, however the team seems incredibly professional and well organised. I expect big things from this project!
